Following on from the success of the Mobile Armory app, and the launch of various Twitter accounts, Blizzard is now diving deeper into the depths of social media, with the release of the Facebook Armory application.
Installing the app is relatively simple, although may be concerning to the more security conscious among us as it does require you to log in with your Battle.net account.
If you have an Authenticator on your account, you will not be asked for a code, however.
The login screen does launch separately, so keeps your details away from Facebook itself, and I'm sure Blizzard has put in the necessary testing to ensure account security.
Once installed you can choose up to five of your characters, that the app will use for status updates.

With all of these, and over five characters played actively, your feed could become very busy, but thankfully there are options available so that you can decide what gets added to your Facebook feed.
You can choose which achievements are announced, from all of the in-game categories such as Exploration or PvP, for example.
Achievement criteria updates can also be displayed, which are intermediate steps within an achievement, like killing a certain boss within the achievement to kill all bosses in a raid.
Loot rarity can be selected, so it would only update your feed when you gained an Epic class item, rather than every random green you obtained in your travels, as well as a minimum item level.
The Armory app is available now, and you can click the link on the right of this page to install and start getting revenge on your friends for the endless Farmville spam.
