WAR - Patch 1.3.3 and Keg End
The latest patch for Warhammer Online, and the Dwarven New Year event.

This certainly is the Thanksgiving period, and MMO gamers have got a lot to be thankful for this season with many announcements and updates to their favourite games.
The latest update comes from Mythic Entertainment, and their monthly WAR newsletter, and the upcoming arrival of Patch 1.3.3.
It was only recently that we saw the release of 1.3.2, which introduced many new features to WAR, and the New User Journey. Hot on it's heels is 1.3.3, bringing with it bug fixes, the Underdog System and a graphical update.
Post-processing effects will be added to heighten the visual experience of WAR, giving the options of Bloom and HDR (High Dynamic Range) lighting.
"Users will experience a visually harmonious and enhanced feel in the game world through these two rendering techniques."
The WAR report is another new feature being introduced to the game, which gives players a snapshot of the action taking place throughout the world. The WAR report will give a list of current events, but also a way to teleport the player to the closest warcamp, chapter hub or flight master. The teleport function will be available every 8 hours.
The Underdog System is being added as a way to aid the Underdog faction on the server, essentially granting an RvR handicap, which will assist with objective taking and zone capping.

The Keg End event will run from December 16th, through to the 4th of January and "is a festive extravaganza packed with great new items, monsters, events, and challenges for all players to master. Keg End is filled with the things Dwarfs like best - Beer, Boasting, and things that explode."
Players can seek out the Legendary Golden Stein and with its liquid courage slay the enemy on the open battlefield, and earn special rewards only available during the event.
The rewards available are:
* An Exclusive in-game title: "Brew Hound" for Order and "Broo Dawg" for Destruction. ?
* A Party Keg that deploys a keg that allies may interact with to increase morale gain rate.
* Keg Tap - An event Slot item with Career-specific stats
There will also be two rare world drop items - The Battlebrew Backpack, and a Dwarf Keg Handler for Order or Goblin Bar-Back for Destruction. Your own personal keg-toting servant!
So, boast to your adversaries, and toast your comrades - Keg End is here, with the mud and the blood and the beer!
