Mythic's ambitious MMO, Warhammer Online, is approaching it's first birthday. Time flies when you're having fun and fans are to celebrate in style with a month long celebration peppered with live events, transformations, prizes and rare drops.
"This anniversary marks a major milestone for WAR, the Mythic development team, and our fantastic community of players," said Executive Producer of WAR, Jeff Hickman. "We could think of no better way of marking this occasion than by celebrating our success with our fans for the entire month of September."

You'll be able enter a new dungeon named The Hunter's Vale, which has Order and Destruction forces fighting against each other for complete domination. Rare and unique event items will also drop, including veteran rewards and novelty prizes like fireworks, pies and stout.
Festivities continue throughout the month of September with weekend long transformations of Mourkain Temple (September 11-14), Gates of Ekrund (September 18-21) and finally Temple of Isha (September 25-28). Mythic are also rewarding long time fans with some birthday related items- if you've been a subscriber from day one, a special Jubilee Clock could soon find it's way into your inventory.
Fans should be rewarded for their commitment especially in the MMO genre and it's great that an ambitious and entertaining MMO like WAR can finally celebrate it's success. No doubt many players will have lots of fun during the coming weeks. The festivities may even tempt those who have yet to make the jump into Nordland, especially with a 20% experience bonus.
