Sony Online Entertainment spreads the Valentine's love
Sony outlines plans for romantic events in Everquest series, Free Realms, Legends of Norrath and Star Wars Galaxies.

Sony Online Entertainment is spreading the love this weekend with a host of special events kicking off in many of its online games.
Everquest players can get free shots of love from the Marketplace and should keep an eye out for rare ite, spawms that will appear all weekend right up until Monday, February 15. If you really want to make it an extra special Valentine's weekend, you can also pick up a wedding pack from the Marketplace at a discounted price..
In Everquest II it's Erollisi Day, Norrath's celebration of love and passion. Activities this year include love-themed quests and mobs that spawn love notes and candies. The loot can then be used in recipes or exchangesd for cash. You'll also spot specially-themed items for crafting and a range of new items that you pick up from merchants.

Expect themed events and quests where you'll receive plenty of special awards such as love potions and flowers. There's also a range of new pets avaialble in the Marketplace, including an Owl, Tiger and a Beetle.
In Legends of Norrath there's a brand new scenario entitled 'Spread The Word,' where you'll be ab;le to win a Book of Love promo card and choose between eitehr an Unscribed Glyth or Draught of the Brilliant loot card.
In Star Wars Galaxies head to Tyrena on Corellia, Kaadara on Naboo and the Southern Ewok Village on Endor where you'll be able to take part in special events to earn some sweet rewards. Among the treats on offer are Chak Hearts which can be exchanged for a range of special items, including three new badges, a bouquet of flowers, or a love painting.
