Need for Speed World Beta is Go!
The free-to-play MMO is now dishing out invites for future test sessions.

EA have announced they are currently accepting applications for the Need for Speed World beta to prepare for its release in the near future.
This MMO racer will feature all the official car licenses which fans love, as well as locales which some may recognise from previous entries in the long-running franchise.

Stated the games official website which contains multiple screenshots and a new trailer.
A fully integrated online racer is definitely intriguing and a significant step up from what has been previously tried in the arcade driving genre, such as Test Drive Unlimited's M.O.O.R (Massively Open Online Racing) concept.
Gameplay will also include the hot pursuit style chases with NPC cops and the exotic racing the series is known for.
We're sure to have more information about Need for Speed World very soon, so keep checking back. Hopefully our old nemesis Sgt Cross will get a cameo or two.
