City of Heroes / Villains - Double XP and Reactivation Weekend
Dig out that super suit for a weekend of double XP and the Spring Fling!

With the imminent release of Issue 17: Dark Mirror, developers Cryptic and NCSoft have announced a Double XP / Reactivation game for their hit MMO City of Heroes.
Starting on Thursday, 4th of March at 8:59am (in both PST and GMT time zones), all inactive accounts will be reactivated for free and ex-players can just reinstall the game to jump back into the action.
During the weekend both previous and current players will receive double XP, Infamy and Influence which will help anyone returning to the game, or trying to level up their alts before the next Issue lands in April.

For our latest City of Heroes coverage, click here to download MMOZine Issue 36 for free.The reactivation and double XP will end on Sunday, March 7th at 11:59pm (again, in both PST and GMT time zones).
All accounts that are reactivated will be automatically cancelled again at the end of the weekend, so there's no need to worry about having your credit card charged if you choose not to join in the fun, or carry on after the free time.
In addition to the double XP, the Spring Fling event also returns this weekend.

New costume pieces, badges and temporary powers are available to be unlocked during the event at Pocket D, so what are you waiting for?
