Champions Online - Free Nemesis Confrontation Weekend
What better way to spend Thanksgiving than beating up Super Villains?

To celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, Cryptic has announced the second free weekend for their Superhero MMO, Champions Online, called the Nemesis Confrontation Weekend.
Starting at 10:00am (PST) tomorrow, Thursday 26th November, players can try out the game for free until 10:00am (PST) on Monday, 30th November.
In addition to the free weekend, Cryptic have also announced special Black Friday deals for their online store.
On Friday, 27th November, certain items from the Cryptic Store will be discounted for all players.
The special offers available are:
* Buy all three Emblem Packs for 160 Cryptic Points. (Regular price: 80 Cryptic Points each.)

Although Cryptic say that the latest content can be tried out, including the new Lair - the Nemesis Confrontation - this may not be the case for some as it is actually level 40 content, however a free weekend is still a good offer.
If you still haven't checked out Champions Online yet, this is the ideal opportunity, presuming the launch goes according to plan.
The last free weekend offered by Cryptic, to celebrate the Halloween event Blood Moon, suffered from a few issues - mainly the late release of the game client, and slow servers, which resulted in many players unable to play the game as they were not able to download the client before the end of the free weekend.
Hopefully this time things will run much smoother, and people can have a super Thanksgiving!
