Even during the great fight between the Elyos and Asmodians, the inhabitants of Atreia still take the time to celebrate the holiday season.

Solorius FestivalThis year the great Solorius Festival will take place, a celebration to honour all the Daevas who have ascended, and their service to humanity.

Solorius Festival"A festival of communion, sharing and appreciation".

Solorius FestivalThe Solorius Festival is one of Atreia's oldest events, dating back to before the Cataclysm, and it promises to bring festive cheer to all with large, brightly lit trees and decorations around the cities.
Sanctum and Pandaemonium are the key areas of celebration, so just head on over to your faction's capital city to join in.
Hymns will be sung, and to make sure these are heard far and wide huge instruments have been created, including a large piano built in each capital requiring players to work together to play.
This may result in a wonderful team effort with beautiful music, or a disastrous melody of madness.
The world-renowned bakers of Sanctum and Pandaemonium have extended their product line with seasonal cake, and other festive wares throughout the entire festival.

In addition to the in-game celebrations NCSoft are offering a 'Holiday Ascension Pack', which will come with all new purchases of Aion at certain US retailers between now and January 18th 2010.
The Holiday Ascension Pack includes:
20 Lesser Life Potions
15 Lodas's Amulets, which increase XP gain by 20% for an hour, with a 10 hour cooldown time.
15 Lesser Run Scrolls, which increase running speed by 10%.
An exclusive colour dye, specific to each retailer, such as True Red from Target or True Black from GameStop.
Although this isn't really much of an incentive to buy a game, it's a nice added bonus and a helping hand to any one who does.
NCSoft haven't announced a date when the event goes live, but we will keep you updated once this information is available.
