Today Hi-Rez Studios has announced not only that the beta application service for Tribes: Ascend is now open, but that the first phase of closed testing will commence “within the next few weeks.”
Also revealed was what exactly this initial beta phase will entail, with players able to sample four different multiplayer maps, two game-modes and twelve playable classes in matches for up to thirty-two players.
It seems as though Hi-Rez are bang on target to hit this game’s release window of Q1 2012, and we hope to have more news regarding this exciting reboot soon.
