To remind gamers that The Secret World’s release is only a few months away, Funcom has announced that this week they’ll reveal more about one of the MMO’s three different factions; the Templars.
“Going behind the scenes of the Templars secret society is both exciting and revealing; remarkably little is known about the inner workings of this organization despite its well known public image,” revealed Ragnar Trnquist, senior producer and director for The Secret World.
“Uncompromising and fiercely brutal, the Templars is an organization with a single goal; to eradicate evil no matter how long it takes them. This is a great opportunity to shed some light on this secret society.”
All this week Funcom will reveal more about the controversial secret society, via the game’s official website.
Incidentally, the Norwegian developer also released six new screenshots to commemorate the announcement and they’re shown below.
The Secret World is set to be released exclusively on PC during the first half of 2012.
