Browser-based MMO producer Bigpoint has today announced that gamers can now register to play The Mummy Online when it enters closed beta later this year.
“We’re excited to get The Mummy Online into the hands of the fans,” said Arash Amini, producer at Bigpoint.
“As is the case with our entire portfolio of games, which can be improved and optimized on the fly, community feedback will be critical to this project’s success.”
The free-to-play MMO which features the much sought after license for ‘The Mummy’ – you know, that film series which starred Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and The Rock back in the day – will include multiple classes, quests, PvP and PvE gameplay, as well as all the enemies from the film you might expect.
Honestly with all the MMO announcements going on these days, The Mummy Online has slipped underneath our radar but it’s good to know that the property is being used for something.
To register your interest to play The Mummy Online, please visit the project’s official website.
