gPotato Europe has just sent word that their brand new online RTS, Terra Militaris has launched this afternoon.
The browser-based strategy MMO allows players to choose from four ancient civilisations – Roman, Egyptian, Persian and Chinese – to forge their own empire through five different eras of human history whilst keeping at bay NPC and human competition in a giant persistent open-world.
All battles take place in real-time and mastery of technology, construction and economics is needed in order to guide your merry band from a small settlement to a massive global empire.
After successful beta stages the game is now ready for the general public to jump in and four servers are currently available for Polish, German, French and English speakers – all of which were named by fans.
There are plenty of in-game events to commemorate the occasion too, which you can find out about by visiting the game’s official Facebook page.
It’ll be very interesting to see how Terra Militaris performs over the coming months and to get involved yourself visit the game’s official website.
