Not content with opening up the beta registration for TERA earlier this month, Frogster has finally confirmed a European release date for the long awaited MMORPG.
Friday, May 3rd is the date in question and we officially can’t wait to hit servers once again!
“We’re truly excited to announce this release date, and the extra time that has been taken to tweak the game for the European market has truly paid off,” explained Seth Iorio, Frogster’s COO.
“Followers of the game and newcomers alike will have an incredibly rich, exciting and polished gameplay experience available to them on May 3rd”.
TERA’s advantage over the competition is its innovative ‘True Action Combat’ system which gets rid of auto-targeting and instead replaces it with attacks which allocate damage in accordance with where a player aims their shots or hits – faithfully emulating combat systems you’d find in more traditional third-person action games.
Add this with a fantastic fantasy universe full of massive monsters and crazy fiction and you have a very intriguing proposition indeed.
