Frogster has announced that TERA, the highly anticipated MMORPG from Korean developer Bluehole, will launch during spring next year, with the testing phase set to begin later in 2011.
“By launching TERA in Spring 2012 we ensure that the game will not only live up to expectations, but surpass them,” said Daniel Ullrich, CMO of Frogster Online Gaming.
“We’ll be unveiling various features at Gamescom and rest assured these are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what players can expect when TERA is released early next year.”
Very interesting!
The last time we sampled TERA we were impressed with its unique art style and its radical combat system which lacked any kind of auto-targeting – a first for MMOs.
Cologne’s gamescom conference is just around the corner (August 18th) and we’ll keep you abreast of any new announcements.
We’re betting there’s going to be quite a few.
