Frogster has announced that TERA’s first European closed beta test will kick off tomorrow and last throughout the weekend.
Servers will be live from 3pm – 12am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (17th -19th) and access is open to all those who’ve pre-ordered the game or have tested TERA before.
Two weeks ago today, gamers were similarly enthused about getting their first taste of TERA only to be let down by “unforeseen” server issues during a much troubled ‘Sneak Peek’ event which had to be subsequently abandoned.
However those gremlins are in the past…
“With the help of the weekend’s test, we were able to resolve the issues that caused the cancellation of the Sneak Peek event. Thanks to the overwhelming support and participation of the TERA community, all Closed Beta tests can run as planned,” stated a representative from Frogster.
This weekend’s beta will allow players to progress their characters up to level 22 and for the first time orchestrate guild battles on a new PvP server.
We have our fingers crossed that proceedings this weekend will be incident free.
