Today Funcom has opened the beta registration process for the curious MMO, The Secret World.
The intriguing experience is set in our own world with Templar, Illuminati and Dragon factions battling to determine humanity’s future. On registration players will take a personality test to determine which secret society they are most in tune with and then they can choose whatever faction they wish.
This certainly isn’t your typical MMO adventure…
“One of the most interesting features of ‘The Secret World’ is the three profoundly different secret societies that players can join,” explained Funcom’s Morten Larssen.
“Since we first announced the game we have gradually revealed more details about them, and what we have seen is that thousands of gamers in our community have come to identify with them and form a loyal bond to other community members belonging to the same society. With ‘The Secret War’ experience we are excited about the prospect of allowing for even more community interaction and engagement.”
This beta will run until The Secret World launches during April next year and players can sign up by visiting the game’s official website.
