Today RIFT has received its highly anticipated 1.6 update which includes a new zone dubbed Ember Isle, which boasts the Caduceus Rise; the largest dungeon in the game to date.
There are other improvements in 1.6 as well, including a new World Event which centres around winter and a holiday-themed Fae Yule celebration.
Judging from the lengthy patch notes which have been posted in the official RIFT forum, this update is absolutely gargantuan and packs in a lot of improvements and content which new and established players should appreciate.
RIFT was released way back in March, but in a matter of month’s Trion World’s first release has established itself as one of the most popular MMOs on the market.
As long as substantial updates like 1.6 keep arriving on servers, RIFT should continue to go from strength to strength.
