The Chevin Conglomerate requires your help.
This morning a new world event has been announced for Star Wars: The Old Republic, dubbed ‘The Grand Acquisitions Race’.
The event is yet to begin, but a new teaser video was released by BioWare to promote the forthcoming festivities.
“For a short time only, The Chevin Conglomerate is offering great riches to anyone who brings them rare and unique items. Scattered across all parts of the galaxy, these items must be retrieved before the Chevin return to their home in the furthest reaches of the Outer Rim,” states the official description for the in-game event.
“Be cautious as some within both the Republic and Imperial governments wonder if there is something more sinister driving the Chevin and their quest to acquire these goods…”
SWTOR has been in the headlines a lot as of late due to falling subscriptions numbers and the announcement of the game shifting to a free-to-play revenue model later in the year. It’s good to see that those internal wranglings haven’t prevented BioWare Austin putting out an interesting world event to keep high level players busy.
