Get some Jeremy Soule to smooth your, er, soul.

Guild Wars 2 Gets Four Disc Soundtrack

You probably haven't heard of Jeremy Soule, but you're certainly heard his work.

Anyone who has spent any time in ′s Beta will tell you that the MMORPG’s soundtrack is absolutely incredible and that’s all thanks to one man; Jeremy Soule.

The classical composer has produced soundtracks for every big fantasy franchise out there, including the original Guild Wars, The Elder Scrolls, Neverwinter Nights, Dungeon Siege, World of Warcraft – the list goes on and on.

The score for Guild Wars 2 is his most recent creation and it can be ordered from DirectSong for $29.99, with the acclaimed musician signing every copy of the four-disc set. If you live in North America that deal is fine and dandy, but if you reside in any other continent you’ll have to put with a relatively steep shipping fee.

UK readers will be charged with $8.00 shipping in addition to the RRP, which equates to $37.99. That sounds steep, but when you start dealing in real money it comes to around £25 which is much easier on the eye.

Look we aren’t saying you should buy it, that would be insane. After all you get all the music in this expensive soundtrack in the regular edition of Guild Wars 2 in one manner of another, but if you’re one of the strange (yet relentlessly cool) folk who like game soundtracks on your MP3 player than this set represents a pretty good deal if you ask us.

But don’t ask us, listen to a slice of the soundtrack yourself and form your own opinion:
