Trion Worlds and Petroglyph have announced that End of Nations, the free-to-play MMORTS, will launch in 2012.
The news was confirmed at the Eurogamer Expo, where the game was demoed to a massive audience.
Originally the ambitious project which involves players fighting to claim ownership of territories on a persistent world map, in addition to a cohesive single-player campaign, was due to launch before the end of this year, but it appears plans have changed.
The End of Nations closed beta is currently in full swing and wannabe players can register their interest by visiting the game’s official website.
