From today existing and lapsed subscribers will be able to sample City of Heroes Freedom weeks before it’s released to the general public.
The exclusive head-start initiative includes the all-new Paragon Market, a new zone dubbed ‘First Ward’ and live server-wide events fighting off the forces of Praetoria and Hamidon.
Developers from Paragon Studios are also getting involved in the pre-launch shenanigans, they’re judging costume contests where players can win rare loot, and joining quest runs in the Death From Below and Underground Incarnate Trials.
If you’re looking for an excuse to jump back into City of Heroes or are intrigued by how exactly the formerly subscription-only experience will shift over to free-to-play, this VIP headstart represents the ideal opportunity.
