On the streets of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, there is space for a new business to set up shop. For any business to be successful, they need a good advertising campaign – and that is where you come in, thanks for Paragon’s latest City of Heroes competition.
"Well, imagine that a new business is setting up shop in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, and that you’ve been hired to create their signage. Your task is to invent a brand-new ad campaigndisplayed on a billboardto promote a product, retailer, restaurant chain, in-lore political candidate, or service of your own devising (or based on lore) that you’ve always wanted to see in the game!
Whether you do it with a drawing, a painting, or a screenshot, we are offering you the opportunity to create your own billboard for the delight of the denizens of Paragon city and/or the Rogue Isles. Make it clever, funny (or punny!), make it deep and contemplative, make it dramatic and histrionicit is up to you as long as it fits into the City of Heroesuniverse AND doesn’t infringe any patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right, or any privacy, publicity or publishing rights of any third party, or libelous, obscene or otherwise contrary to law."
Now, no competition is complete without some kind of prize, and Paragon have laid on a pretty decent set of prizes for the winners, with the top prize netting the winner a six month subscription to City of Heroes, and every booster and costume pack released to date.
Second and third place winners will get three and one month subscriptions respectively, along with a smaller selection of booster and costume packs added to their account.
As well as the above, winners may also see their winning design added in to the game itself for all to see.
