Today is Thanksgiving Day for the folks in the US, and what could be better than sitting down to play some video games after enjoying your turkey?
Thanksgiving is, of course, all about giving thanks and Cryptic are getting into the holiday spirit this year, and have announced their special Black Friday weekend sale for the Champions Online and Star Trek Online C-Store.
Starting on Friday at 10am PST, and ending at 10am on Monday, 29th of November, Champions and Trekkies can bag themselves a 20% discount on all items in the C-Stores -with the exception of the Enterprise Bundle – and its components – and Tier 5 Klingon retrofit ships for STO.
As well as the store discounts, Cryptic announced that the free-to-play update for Champions Online has now entered the closed beta stage. Feedback is being gathered, and so far everything remains on track for an early 2011 re-launch for the super-hero MMO.
Star Trek Online will also be seeing an update soon as Season Three: Genesis is set to debut in December.
