GamersFirst has announced a very special holiday event for APB Reloaded, which involves killing assault rifle packing elves spread throughout the city of San Paro.
Players will receive a random in-game gift for every helper they incapacitate and the event will run until January 5th, so there’s plenty of time to put the elves in their place.
Elves can spawn in any district of San Paro at any time, but the event will be flagged up in-game to give players a chance to arm themselves. For you see these elves are packing and they possess some magical abilities, just like in real life, such as increased health and super speed.
MMOs have a history of putting their own spin on Christmas, but we can’t remember a time where we’ve been asked to eliminate Santa’s diminutive staffers, especially during a time which is traditionally about associated with good will to all men.
A notion which is certainly over-rated, especially in video games.
