After a year long open beta, Allods Online has officially launched in Europe today.
This benchmark coincides with the introduction of a lorry-load of new content, care of the Volume 4: Astral Odyssey update. Players will be able to enjoy lots of new items in the store, a raised level cap, two new high-level zones and six new Allods.
"It’s been a long road for Allods Online’s beta period, but we’re hugely proud of what we’ve achieved in working with Astrum Nival and we can definitively say that Allods Online has everything that defines a modern, Triple-A MMORPG, " explained the project’s executive producer, Vincent Douvier.
"Of course, we have to reserve the highest praise for our Allods Online European players, who have been instrumental in guiding the game’s development throughout the beta process and without which, we would never have the assured quality, depth and balance that makes Allods Online such a high-grade title."
Amen to that, us European gamers really are something.
In addition to Allods Online exiting beta, new players will now also be granted beginner packs when they complete the starter zone, to ease their transition into the game.
So not a bad content update all round really.
