NCSoft have teamed up with partners AMD and Alienware Arena to bring a series of mini-events to the North America Aion servers.
The first of the events will take place this weekend, running from 9:00pm on Friday, 5th of November to 9:00pm on Sunday, 7th of November and will be a PvP based event.
The Assault on Balaurea PvP weekend is a fairly simple event, requiring you to score 15 PvP kills between the above times, and if you are successful – which shouldn’t be too difficult given you have a whole weekend to do it – you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three ATI Radeon HD 5850 graphics cards, currently retailing at approximately $150.
All registered players kills will be tracked live during the event, updated every 15 minutes, and can be viewed on the Alienware Arena Competitors page.

There is no news yet as to whether similar events will make it to European servers, but we can only hope.
