The latest update for Aion – patch 2.1 part 2 – has been on the public test servers for about a week now, and will make its way to live servers on the 26th of January.
Update 2.1 part 2 focuses on crafting, and will feature brand new recipes and other crafting improvements for those that like to keep busy at the loom.
To support the crafting enchancements, Atreira’s Artisan Expo will be returning to provide accelerated skill progression in crafting, essence tapping and aether tapping, so is the perfect time to improve your current skill level, or get started with crafting if you haven’t already.
Another change that came to Aion Online this week concerns those trusty companion pets that follow us around tirelessly on our adventures.
With the release of Assault on Balaurea, some pets were bundled with the boxed copies as an exclusive bonus, but now these pets are available to buy from the NCsoft store.
So, if you fancy yourself a little panda who will boost your inventory by a generous 12 slots, head over to the NCsoft store. The price of the pets ranges from £4.99 to the more costly £11.99 Shugo Lad who will increase your inventory space by 24 slots.
