Update 3.0.1 offers a new mentoring system and new Astral sectors to explore.

gpotato has announced that Allods Online has been patched to 3.0.1 bringing a host of new features and content, most notable of which is a new mentor system.
Any character over level thirty can recruit any newly created character over level six, to help their progression within the game. All the functionality is managed by a new mentor interface which can automatically match potential partners together. Mentors will receive extra gold, anniversary coins and marks of diligence for their efforts in smoothing the difficultly curve for new players with the relationship ending when the apprentice reaches the same level as their master.
This new update also brings with it another layer of Astral space for players to explore and a new treasure hunting dynamic. Essentially the more players enter a sector of the ethereal plane the chances of random treasure drops dramatically increase, but with that comes an increased risk of a demon appearing. It’s a nifty risk versus reward system and encourages captains to play nice in order to get more loot.
The 3.0.1 update is the last before Allods Online’s 1st year anniversary on May 11th and apparently plenty of festivities are being planned. Interestingly gPotato has also released a new trailer showcasing what Allods Online players can look forward to this summer and it can be seen below:
