New features promised and game map opened up.

It seems like things are getting 'beta' for The War Z...get it?
Survival horror MMO The War Z has officially entered the Beta stage of development today, according to an announcement from Hammerpoint Interactive.
The one-time-fee MMO currently boasts over 500,000 players according to the latest communication from the dev team and to celebrate the game’s only map based around Colorado has been opened up, offering up 50% more land mass to explore. New marketplace items, and clan support such as tags, dedicated chat channels and visual markers have also been added to the game which is still in the throws of development.
The War Z has attracted a lot of attention recently due to an angry forum moderator spreading malicious rumours about the game, its development and the long term aims of Hammerpoint Interactive. Accusations which have since been entirely debunked by the angry forum moderator himself.
Today’s announcement should draw a line in the sand when it comes to that personal attack and proves that The War Z will continue to evolve regardless of outside intervention.
