Just as the Mad King retires until next year, “something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows”.
Guild Wars 2 is set to get a big update next month, and it has something to do with a particularly watery region in Tyria, the Sea of Sorrows.
“Something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows,” states a teaser link on the MMORPG’s official website.
“Unravel a mystery of monstrous proportions in The Lost Shores, a massive one-time world event that will change Tyria forever!”
Fan speculation is currently linking this world event to the pending arrival of an Elder Dragon this November, but understandably ArenaNet are keeping quiet on the details for now. Expect more news over the coming days, as the Halloween event wraps up.
