Using items in crafting in LOTRO |
|
From time to time, when you pick up items, you'll see that they have dull green background and they will be worth a reasonable amount of cash. The description will say something like "an item used in crafting" - Diminutive Wight Treasure is an example of these sorts of items, but until recently I didn't know what to do with them. The first thing you need to do is master the tier of a craft. Once you have mastered a particular tier, you should see that there is a Mastery Options tab at the bottom of the crafting panel that you can click on. Click on that and select an item you want to craft. Some of them have critical chances (hover over the item's icon at the bottom of the Mastery Options tab and it will show you what you get from a critical). These items will show you what item you need to use to improve your critical chance - it seems to be +44%, which would often bring critical chance to 49%. So, for example, as a jeweller, I can improve my critical chance when buffing up a ruby by attaching an item. Trackback(0)
