Search button in Auction Houses in LOTRO |

I've just made a second amend to my guide to Action Houses in LOTRO. I've discovered why the auctions appeared empty, and I'm sure it's obvious to anyone who is a World of Warcraft old hand, but for MMO newbies like us, auctioning is very poorly (ie not at all) explained. When you select a category of items for sale in an Auction House, you must click on the Search button at the bottom, or the listing will remain empty, which is why the Auction Houses seemed empty. Only by using a manual query will the items show. All to do with database listing, apparently. But not very user friendly for the beginner. Anyway, once you've got the items listed you can bid and buy. Simple, as long as you know about that Search button.

are you serious? you didn't realize you had to click on the search button? i mean, expecting shit to just be listed when you open the AH window is like expecting google to list sites when you open up google.com...  |
