What's the time in LOTRO?

Written by Dave Taylor

Stuck in LOTRO and wondering what the time in the real world is? With the game full screen, you can't see the Windows clock, so type in "/servertime" and the output window will tell you the time according to the server. Handy little command to discover, but what I really wanted to know was how to find out what the in-game time was, so that I would know how much more night time was left. So far, there doesn't seem to be a way.

AFAIK the only way to tell the time ingame is to make an estimate on the position of the sun or moon

With the new add-on Shores of Evendim they will have implemented an in-game time (somewhere on the map in the upper-right corner)

Aap, you're right. They have now implemented in game time. It's on the top left of the mini map, which shows a small icon. Hover over it for the exact in-game time.
