LOTRO Tutorial level |

So, the first part of the Shadows on Angmar tutorial has given my first taste of Middle Earth as envisaged in LOTRO. And it's good. The control system is pretty easy, with movement especially well done, by holding down the right mouse button and then clicking on the left button to move. The only thing so far is that the tutorial leaves you to make some leaps of your own as to what you should be doing, and the graphics on the collapse of a building were, frankly, terrible. Which is shame, because on my nVidia 8800 the rest of the game is graphically gorgeous.
One thing that was strange was that the natural RPGer in my came out immediately, so before I talked to anyone, I'd looted the corpse next to me and got myself a bow and dagger. Then the first NPC I talked to told me to take the weapons off the corpse, which of course I'd just done, right in front of him. Any playtester should have spotted that.

| I see no problem in the npc telling you to search even after you already do so. it can hardly count as a mistake |
