Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery review - DS
Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery is a city-building sim with a historical slant, as you might guess from the name. It's new to the Nintendo DS but has been around on the PC for some time, although it's made few waves outside of its native Germany, where it's a huge hit. The gameplay is what you would expect - guide your settlers through the early days of building their city, grow the settlement and see it prosper, with some nice features that work well on the DS. SimCity review - DS
SimCity is the daddy of all sim games - the original and many would still say the best. The game itself needs very little introduction, and now you can turn town-planner on your Nintendo DS. The DS version of SimCity is really scaled-down adaptation of SimCity 2000 but will all-new features including some mini-games. Is there enough to make it a new, fresh take on the game?
