FIFA 08 vs PES 08 previews for DS and PSP
EA might have thought it made real ground on its arch rival Pro Evolution Soccer with FIFA last year, but Konami has listened to its fans and this year's PES looks to add some really exciting improvements to the AI in the game. Both games claim that the teams will adapt to yoour own gameplay, though they appear to take a different approach to achieve it, but with PES always leading the way in terms of realistic football gameplay, Konami is unlikely to score an own goal. Spiderman Friend or Foe preview for Sony PSP
Spiderman games have been hit and miss, a little like the Spiderman films, but at least Spiderman: Friend or Foe has an interesting concept. The game gives you the opportunity to team up with Spiderman's enemies in order to take on an even greater threat. To win the bad guys onto your side in Spiderman: Friend or Foe you first have to beat them into submission. Go! gadgets for PSP
"Go, go, gadget PSP." Sony may have a quiet line up in terms of games for the PSP, but it hasn't stopped developing some incredible add-ons for the hardware itself. The Go! gadgets for the PSP are going to add all sorts of new features, from the simple voice and text chat functionality, to video on demand direct to your PSP. World Snooker Championship preview for Nintendo DS
Given the graphical challenges of a snooker game are pretty reasonable, World Snooker Championship seems like a perfect game for the handheld system. Coming in the DS, World Championship Snooker will take advantage of the dual screen format, giving you an overview of the table on one screen with the action on the other. Given the stylus control on the DS, cuing in World Snooker Championship should prove a truly entertaining control system.
