Until now, if you want to try your hand at WWE wrestling, you'd have to put yourself through several years of painful training. Either that or you could defy all the ‘don't try this at home' warnings and try out some wrestling moves on a friend. But neither is recommended, so thank Vince McMahon's dwarf illegitimate son for SmackDown vs Raw on the DS, the nearest thing you'll get to real W WE action without getting your face staved in. Following on from our feature in issue 7, we've had a chance to play with the latest version of the game, and here's our report on how it's shaping up.

The DS version is very different from the game you'll play on other platforms. Your weapon of choice here is the stylus, which you use to bust some moves on your unwitting opponent. During a match three coloured options will appear onscreen depending on the difficulty of the moves you can execute, and you have to quickly touch the one you want to use, then draw the on-screen prompt to pull off the move.
