Glory Days 2 Brotherhood of Men review for Nintendo DS

A mix of combat flying and war strategy, Glory Days 2: Brotherhood of Men sees you piloting a fighter through a combat zone on the upper screen, while watching the battle action on the ground on the lower one. Glory Days 2 Brotherhood of Men review for Nintendo DS
Glory Days 2 is baffling. Its tutorial amounts to this: A quick flash of the most complex diagram ever, which is supposed to teach you how to fly a fighter jet. T hen suddenly you're in the pilot seat, rocketing down the runway with civilians waving their arms begging for rescue and tanks launching missiles at you. Thank God the real army don't have such a sink or swim attitude to warfare, eh?

Fortunately, despite the confusing amount of action happening on the DS touchscreen, everything that you really need to concentrate on is displayed on the top screen. Here, a simple line denotes the battle, shows how far forward your troops have advanced and flags up ally and enemy bunkers that you need to destroy. War is the simplest of affairs in this game. Your base is located on the far right of the screen and the enemy's on the far left. Troops pour out of each base towards one another, while you sail through the sky above, bombing their bunkers, tanks and planes.
