The SOCOM franchise is well established as the one to beat in the area of tactical shoot-’emups. This latest addition plans to cement that reputation even further, as not only do you still get the opportunity to blow the bejesus out of anyone stupid enough to wander in front of your highly skilled crosshairs, but new tactical elements should bring a depth to the gameplay that we’ve yet seen in the series. Developed in association with the US Naval Special Warfare Command, Tactical Strike now gives you the chance to fight as one of nine special forces from around the world in either a lengthy single-player mode or by connecting up to three other players for Ad Hoc or online Infrastructure play – complete with voice chat if you already own a headset.
