Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass review for Nintendo DS
There are many things
that you’re guaranteed
will be perfect in a
Zelda game, and the first is
an epic opening – the sort
of cliffhanging beginning
that tantalises the player.
So many Zelda games on,
it’s incredible that the start of yet
another vast quest can still inspire such
an incredible feeling
of adventure. Of
wanting to jump on
a horse and gallop
across Hyrule field,
or set sail to new
and exciting lands.
If you’ve played a
Zelda game before
then you just know
that ahead lies paths
full of fascinating
characters, hidden
worlds and puzzlepacked
dungeons,
all fresh and
undiscovered. And
you know – because
they’ve never failed to deliver before – every area
will be a mini-masterpiece
in every respect.
