Worms Open Warfare 2 Preview - DS and PSP
If ever there was a game destined for greatness in the handheld market, surely Worms is it? A game better in 2D than 3D, a game split into handily sized chucks, and ideally for this generation of handhelds, a game that is great single player and even better when played with a friend. Moreover, one where multiplayer can exist on one machine even as the turn based nature allows you to pass the console around. So, what will Team 17 do in Worms Open Warfare 2 to ensure the game makes the most of its natural home? Firstly, Worms Open Warfare 2 is very community based and secondly Team 17 reckons it has listened to the criticism of the original Worms Open Warfare (notably lack of weapons and online mode) and fixed it. We got an exclusive look at Worms Open Warfare 2, so download the free mag now to read the Worms Open Warfare 2 preview.Click here to read the full Worms Open Warfare 2 Preview for Sony PSP and Nintendo DS now! |

SOCOM US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 review - PSP
SOCOM US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 is rather a long name for a game, but SOCOM 3 picks up where the original left off and like the original the single player delivers, but its real value lies in its multiplayer modes. As the name suggest SOCOM US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 sees you in FPS action, shooting the baddies while trying not to shoot the civilians in the fictional setting of Adjikstan. Burnout Dominator review - PSP
Burnout Dominator brings the series back to its origins of manic racing and is the better for it. Instead of emphasis on crashing, the aim of Burnout Dominator is to narrowly avoid crashing, in other words, to take everything as close to the wire as you can, which is what gets the blood pumping in a driving sim, so it’s good to see EA get this right. Also great in Burnout Dominator to see is the return of the “burnout”, which has been rather oddly missing from the series of late. Insane driving, fantastic scoring chains and speed combine to balance risk with reward in Burnout Dominator. Brothers in Arms Preview - DS
So for the first time, the Brothers in Arms franchise is coming to a Nintendo console, though we’d be surprised if the DS turns out to be the last to get a Brothers in Arms game. It’s about time too, because the DS is somewhat lacking decent FPS war games, while the PSP has fared better. It’s great therefore to hear the developer’s president waxing lyrical about why he believes the DS offers a controls system that will allow them to evolve the gameplay. Read all about the weapons, gameplay and new ideas in our Brothers in Arms DS preview. Find out more when you read the full Brothers in Arms preview.

Dynasty Warriors: Fighter’s Battle Preview - DS
Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter’s Bane will return us to Ancient China (yes, the franchise opted not to set the next game in outer space after all) and offers a card battling take on the strategy classic. You have a choice of three characters and use stat based battles to progress through the game fighting and spell-wielding your way to victory. Obviously for the handheld console, the epic battles have had to be scaled down, and the visual style has been changed too.
