God of War Chains of Olympus review for Sony PSP
God of War, Chains of Olympus, proves that the PSP can pack in a huge amount of the gameplay that we'd expect to only see on a full blown home console. As a game it fills in some of the backstory, taking place before the original God of War. God of War, Chains of Olympus, is as close to perfect a game as we've seen on the PSP, with stunning graphics and tight gameplay - find out why we awarded a full 10 out of 10 by reading the review in this issue.

We don't dish out 10 scores to
reviews very often, so does
that mean that God of War:
Chains of Olympus is the perfect game?
In a word, yes. Obviously there's a small
minority of gamers who simply don't
get their portable gaming kicks from
third-person action games, but for the
majority of us, it's pure gaming gold
and faultless in every respect.
Kratos is the muscular hero of the
previous two God of War games on the
PS2. Games which were universally
revered for their intelligent combat
system, stunning graphics and screensized
bosses. Squeezing all that down
to a PSP was never going to be easy
but, miraculously, the developers have
done all that we could have hoped for,
and, quite possibly, a bit more, too.
