We don't dish out 10 scores to reviews very often, so does that mean that God of War: Chains of Olympus is the perfect game? In a word, yes. Obviously there's a small minority of gamers who simply don't get their portable gaming kicks from third-person action games, but for the majority of us, it's pure gaming gold and faultless in every respect. Kratos is the muscular hero of the previous two God of War games on the PS2. Games which were universally revered for their intelligent combat system, stunning graphics and screensized bosses. Squeezing all that down to a PSP was never going to be easy but, miraculously, the developers have done all that we could have hoped for, and, quite possibly, a bit more, too.
