Patapon is a truly original game - it's pretty safe to say you won't have seen or played anything quite like it before. At heart it's a squad-based game but with a real difference, with stylised, cartoon graphics and a musical backdrop that you need to keep in time with as you tap out your commands. We're very excited by Patapon, due out in the first quarter of next year, and we've got a first look preview this month with all the latest details of the game.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus preview PSP

The many fans who've played and loved Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops since it launched on the PSP don't have long to wait for more MGS action. Portable Ops Plus has just been released in the US, and it'll be out in the UK in early 2008. A stand-alone expansion which you can also import your saved characters from the original into, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus promises plenty more hours of fun with Snake and friends. Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings preview DS

Following immediately on from the action of Final Fantasy XII on the PS2, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings is set to be one of the most polished games on the DS so far. With its mix of RPG and turn-based strategy, it should be both truly accessible and a worthy successor to its predecessors.
