Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is going to be the first real game on the Wii to allow you to wield the controller as a lightsaber, but the game is coming on all platforms, so without this (incredibly) unique selling point, can the DS and PSP versions prove as attractive. Star Wars games on the consoles have always been a mixed bag – with the best ones by far being the two Lego Star Wars titles – but LucasArts are now hoping for more success with this, the latest game based on the Star Wars universe.

Set between the Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope films, you play an apprentice to Darth Vader who's been given the job of hunting down the remaining Jedi Knights. You've got the full gamut of Jedi powers at your disposal, and can break, throw or move practically any object or person that you choose to.
