Spyro Dawn of the Dragon preview DS

Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon preview for Nintendo DS

Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is coming to the DS and we caught up with the developers for an exclusive chat about how Spryo: Dawn of the Dragon was shaping up. Spyro is more mature this time around with more epic bosses and vast gameplay areas. There are going to be two different modes to the game: the traditional 2D platformer and then a flight mode that allows you to fly through the environment. It looks like Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon could be the dawn of a new day for the plucky purple protagonist. To read the full interview and see the latest screens, read our exclusive Dawn of the Dragon spyro interview in this month's free magazine.

Guitar Hero On Tour review DS

Guitar Hero On Tour review for Nintendo DS

Guitar Hero On Tour is the DS iteration of the console conquering Guitar Hero series. While it clearly can't pack all the features of the full console game onto the DS, the developers have taken the time to try and innovate as much as possible on the title, making use, for instance, of the much underused expansion slot on the DS to ship a special controller with the game. It makes strumming along to the songs more exciting and fun, and you can read how well we think they captured the success of the console version on the DS in our full review of Guitar Hero on Tour in this month's free magazine.

The Sims 2 Apartment Pets preview DS

The Sims 2 Apartment Pets preview for Nintendo DS

The Sims 2: Apartment Pets is the upcoming sequel to the Sims 2 Pet expansion. We expected to hate it. I mean, you would, wouldn't you, with a title that couldn't scream The Sims 2: Cash In any more. But hey, we're grown ups so we can admit when we're wrong. The Sims 2: Apartment Pets is looking pretty entertaining and from our play of it, we're impressed. You build you own pet spa up, and basically play The Sims but with pets. You dress them up in crazy outfits and see to their every need. Read our full preview of The Sims 2: Apartment Pets and see why it's looking like a worthy addition to The Sims family in this month's free magazine.
