World of Warcraft: Noblegarden Achievement Guide

Published on April 4th, 2010

It’s that time of year again where we eat tons of chocolate in the name of religion, and while eating your why not take the time to earn yourself a few achievements in ?

That’s right, it’s Noblegarden time again!

Starting today, April 4th, and running until Sunday, April 11th the Noblegarden event is live on all servers and offers a nice collection of achievements, and is included in the What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been meta-achievement.

Noble Gardener

Through completion of the Noblegarden event you will earn yourself the title ‘…the Noble’, there’s a pet to add to your collection, and a nice little item for Mages.

The bulk of this event involves collecting chocolate eggs, which spawn in the eight Alliance and Horde starter zones.

Alliance:
• Azure Watch – Azuremyst
• Dolanaar – Teldrassil
• Goldshire – Elwynn Forest
• Kharanos – Dun Morogh

Horde:
• Bloodhoof Village – Mulgore
• Brill – Tirisfal Glades
• Falconwing Square – Eversong Woods
• Razor Hill – Durator

So, the basics…

The first thing you will want to do is make your way to one of the starter zones listed above, and look for spawns of Brightly Colored Eggs.

These will appear in various places around the area, and for a lot of the event you may find most of the spawn points are camped by other players. You can either spend your time running around in the hope of catching a fresh spawn, or find a known spawn point and just wait there.

Some of the event achievement require you to obtain certain items. In order to avoid people getting screwed over by the random number generator, there are two ways to obtain these items.

Once you have got one of the eggs, find it in your inventory and open it. Most of the time you will get Noblegarden Chocolate, but if you are lucky you may find one of the items needed for the achievements.

If you are extremely unlucky and never get an item from within the eggs, don’t worry, as you can then visit one of the event vendors and purchase the items you need with a certain amount of Noblegarden Chocolate.

For those unlucky folk you will need a total of 475 chocolates to purchase everything from the vendor, and to also complete the two event quests, however I’m sure after opening that many eggs you will definitely find a couple of the event items. You also have a full week to complete the event, so you have more than enough time.

So, on to the achievements.

I Found one

The easiest of all the event achievements – simply find a Brightly Colored Egg somewhere in one of the starter zones.

Chocolate Lover

Chocaholic

Another fairly easy one. All you need to do here is eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolates that you find inside the eggs. This is a progressive achievement and will start out with a requirement of 25, and then ending with the achievement for 100.

The achievement for 100 also counts the original 25, so you don’t need to eat 125 to earn this.

Noble Garden

Purchase a Noblegarden Egg from the event vendor for 5 Chocolates, and then use this somewhere within Stormwind (if Alliance) or Silvermoon City (if Horde).

The good thing with this achievement is that, once you have placed the egg somewhere, you can then loot it immediately after like the normal eggs – and you have the same chance to find an event item within the egg, or the standard chocolate.

So, if you’re lucky, you could find something like the Elegant Dress, or Spring Circlet, that would normally cost you 50 chocolates from the vendor.

Spring Fling

Spring Fling

This achievement requires the Spring Rabbit pet – this is either obtained through a lucky drop from one of the eggs, or purchased from the holiday vendor for 100 Chocolates.

Once you have got your pet you need to make your way to each of the four starter zones for both Horde and Alliance – the same zones you can find the eggs in.

Bring our your little rabbit friend, and look around for other players that have theirs own Spring Rabbit, and then wait for the bunnies to do what comes naturally. Once you see a heart appear above your rabbits head, you can move on to the next zone.

Shake Your Bunny-Maker

Shake Your Bunny-Maker

A clear nod towards Playboy here – use your Spring Flowers to put rabbit ears on female characters of the listed races, that are at least level 18.

The Spring Flowers are either obtained from the eggs, or can be bought for 50 chocolates from the vendor.

There are two easy places to earn this achievement.

You can find those of your own faction while hunting eggs, as there are sure to be plenty around, and you can then head to Dalaran to get those of the opposing faction. Dalaran is probably the safest option, especially if you are on a PvP server.

Blushing Bride

You will need to get some help with this one.

First of all you will need the White Tuxedo Shirt, and Black Tuxedo Pants and then meet up with another player wearing the Elegant Dress to give them a kiss.

As with the other event items, these will either drop from the eggs you collect, or are purchasable from the holiday vendor.

The Tuxedo shirt and pants cost 25 chocolates each, and the dress will set you back 50 chocolates.

One thing to note is that the items are not bind-on-use, so you can make a deal with a friend and each spend 50 chocolates each and then pass the items between you so that you can both earn the achievement.

The next two achievements can be done together to make things easier and reduce the amount of travelling you need to do.

Before you set off, get together with a couple of friends, and make sure you have the Spring Robes and a Blossoming Branch.

Hard Boiled

Hard Boiled

To earn this achievement you need to lay an egg in the Un’Goro Golakka Hot Springs, as a rabbit.

The easiest way to do this is get together with a bunch of friends, or guildies, when you have the Blossoming Branch item – again from the eggs, or the vendor for 10 chocolates.

Head through the Caverns of Time portal in Dalaran to get ported straight to Tanaris, and then ride on to Un’Goro Crater.

Go to the location on this map: http://www.wowhead.com/?maps=490:373566

Once there, get a friend to use the Blossoming Branch to turn you in to a bunny, then just run around a little bit near the water’s edge until you lay an easter egg. Don’t forget to return the favour to your friend.

Desert Rose

Using the Spring Robes will plant a flower, and you will need to do this in the five named deserts. You don’t need to plant them any where specific, so any where in the zone will qualify for the achievement.

When you have finished in Un’Goro Crater, head back to Tanaris for the first, and then take a flight from Gadgetzan on to Silithus.

From there you can then fly on to the other three zones to finish off the achievement.

With this achievement complete you should now have earned your Noble title. Congratulations!

There are two more achievements assosciated with the event, but these are not required for the overall event meta-achievement.

These were removed from the meta-achievement as they are subject to the dreaded random number generator, but can still be earned.

Dressed for the Occasion and Sunday’s Finest require you to find the dress and tuxedo clothes from within the eggs.

As above, these aren’t required for you to get your title, but if you’re an achievement hunter then you have a week to hunt eggs in the hope of finding these items.

Good luck, and Happy Easter.
