Storm is probably one of the most diverse maps to release in the Stimulus map pack. There is plenty of areas to explore and a few sweet spots for snipers. Here are some handy tips for those struggling to get over the abundance of crates and into some sweet vantage points.

Storm is set on an industrial park.
A personal favourite out of the three new maps in the pack, Storm offers a range of gameplay rather than restricting you to the run and gun style of Savage. Like Bailout, Storm is great for all sorts of classes due to it’s variety of area types. You’ll be keeping your head down around the crate maze from the snipers who have a good look of the area as well as creeping around the insides of the main warehouse.
As mentioned before, there is a small crate maze which is overlooked by a balcony ready for snipers to pick you off. Stay low and creep around. A close range weapon in this area is recommended like a Shotgun or Akimbo SMGs as others will tend to keep a low profile as well. If you are sniping from the balcony overlooking this area then prep the stairs and doorway with claymores and keep low. There are two entrances with short stairs so it is easy to be taken out.
When in the warehouse, take notice of the small overhangs that provide cover from the catwalks above. This can be a great spot to hide out if you enjoy that kind of thing. The warehouse can get hot with activity, especially nearer the end of the match, so be prepared with C4s in certain door ways or claymores around your hiding spot to stop people taking you out below as you concentrate on the action above.
Snipers will also want to check out the room of the mannequin shop. This roof provides a decent area view of the map and if you keep low and have a silenced weapon it’ll be hard to find you.
There are a few holes in the construction yard area of the map, prone in these and you can hide pretty well. This is great for hardcore matches if you need to hide away for a bit but not great for more active battles.
Our last advice is to use Sitrep Pro in Hardcore mode. The map surface isn’t great for sneaky, quiet assaults and using the perk will silence your footsteps completely.
Perfect for: Free-For-All or Ground War – The sheer size and variety of this map is great for big team battles and all out chaos.
