More Mapathy medicine advice this time for Salvage. A snow covered junkyard filled to the brim in campers dreams! Your first time on this might can be quite intense, so get ready to run and gun as we guide you through some tactical advantages for Salvage.
This map is fantastic for hiding around corners, climbing up to vantage points and going akimbo. If you want fun, constant and fast team-deathmatch then Salvage is the map for you. The map is a lot larger than it originally looks, so having a good sweep around the map and learning each corner and crevice will be a good start.
There is an open area with a house and a small dog house facing the inside of the house. This is a great place to hide out in when you are covering the flag in CTF or getting some very sneaky kills from passers by. Remember to go prone to get inside, then crouch while inside.
Claymores and C4s are godly here. Each corner can be trapped and it is well worth covering your tracks as you go through. Another good addition to your arsenal would be flash or smoke grenades. Most of this map is feels claustrophobic and you can trap a group of them easily by following it with a frag grenade.
Running around with Akimbo-SMGs or Shotguns will have you laughing. During team-deathmatch, a lot of players tend to sprint around the map than concentrate on sneaking around or playing it safe. If you prefer to use assault weapons or snipers, then climb up on the cars and barrels as there are plenty of higher advantage points. Personally, we enjoyed using the P90 and charging in full force.
Perfect for: Gaining loads of quick XP in Team-Deathmatch or really intense hardcore Team-Deathmatch.
