Struggling to earn the two Beat The Team Achievements/Trophies in Split/Second: Velocity? It’s easier than you might think…
First of all, you’re going to have to attempt it in Quick Play rather than in Season mode. The car you’re given in Season mode simply isn’t quick enough, and you’ll need to pick a faster one to have any hope of passing. To get the two achievements, you need to beat Black Rock’s times of 01:07 on Construction Site and 01:18 on Power Plant in Detonator mode.
We’d suggest waiting until you have completed the game’s Season mode and finished first in all events. On doing so you’ll unlock the Elite GT12, the fastest car in the game, making these two particular Achievements/Trophies relatively easier.
But if you still can’t do it, try and try again. Practice makes perfect, learn the track like the back of your hand, and remember you can drift by simply letting go of the accelerator for a split-second before reapplying. You don’t need to tap the brake, which could save you a few vital milliseconds.
