Picked up Sonic Generations? Want to turn your regular blue hedgehof into a sparkly yellow Super Sonic? Here’s how!
You’ll need to find all six Chaos Emeralds. You’ll acquire three simply by defeating three of the story’s main bosses:
- Death Egg Robot
- Perfect Chaos
- Egg Dragoon
You don’t need to finish the game, just defeat these bosses.
You’ll also need to defeat the three mini-bosses located in the game’s hub world. These include:
- Metal Sonic
- Shadow the Hedgehog
- Silver the Hedgehog
Do this and you’ll have all six Emeralds at hand.
Once you have done that, head to any stage and select ‘Skill Customisation’ to access your Skill Sets.
Customise anyone of these and equip ‘Super Sonic’ to your skill set. Make sure you press start to set it correctly.
If you’ve followed that properly, head into an Act, collect 50 rings and press Y or Triangle to unleash Super Sonic.
As in prior games, Super Sonic runs on rings so keep gathering them to stay in Super Sonic Mode.
